The founders of Freedom of Faith come from similar backgrounds as the people they hope to reach out to...

Padre Perry Moore

Padre Perry was born in Newton, IA on April, 26 1984. He has travelled the world, from Rome to Idaho, and currently resides in Newton, IA. Perry is single. Very single. He was raised Christian of the Presbyterian denomination. In highschool, he converted to being aetheist. After Highschool, Perry ceased to be aetheist or religious in any way. He disconcerned himself with trivial questions like, is there a higher power, how were humans created, and what is Hardee's special sauce? Now he lives comfortably with his thoughts, a minister with the Universal Life Church HQ and The ULC Monastary, doing little other than learning more about the universe... for now.

Reverend Steven J Adelmund was born in Davenport, Ia on May 5th, 1981. He is married and currently living in Marshalltown, Ia. Rev. Adelmund's family had a religion, so he was baptized and raised in the Catholic faith. After his confirmation, Steven began to develop his own personal belief system in regards to faith. He noticed things about the Catholic faith that he could not believe in and thus realized that with freedom of choice, he could establish his own faith. In high school, he began to study Buddism, Peganism, Wicca, Greek and Norse Mythology, and other religions. For more on Rev. Adelmund's Religious beliefs please see the theology page. Rev. Adelmund is an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church HQ and ULC The Monastary.
